Provision of Personnel to help undertake the Assessment of Sector Skills Councils


The Comptroller and Auditor General (C&AG), and the National Audit Office of which he is the head, scrutinise public spending on behalf of Parliament. He certifies the accounts of all Government departments and a wide range of other public sector bodies. He also reports to Parliament on the economy, efficiency and effectiveness with which departments and other bodies have used their resources. The NAO has been invited to undertake the assessment of Sector Skills Councils and require personnel to support them in delivering the assessment of 20 Sector Skills Councils between 6th January and 10th August 2009.

Work Description:

The NAO require at least one Performance Assessment Manager and one Performance Assessment Researcher to help the NAO to deliver the project and may require the Contractor to provide additional personnel during the course of the project. The Contractor┐s Personnel will work alongside NAO staff working on the project under the direction of the NAO┐s Director responsible for Regeneration, Renewal and the Regions. The Contractor┐s Personnel will be required to work as part of teams assigned to particular assessments.
